Win FREE TIX to See Signal @ EMPAC at RPI on Saturday

In what’s certain to be one of the highlights of EMPAC’s always adventurous 2011 season, the innovative new music group Signal will perform two of Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Steve Reich’s most memorable minimalist masterpieces – “Music for 18 Musicians” and “Double Sextet” – in concert at EMPAC’s magnificent concert hall at 8pm on Saturday.

Under the direction of Brad Lubman, Signal has become one of the most important new music ensembles working today. The New York Times hails Signal as “one of the most vital groups of its kind.”

Tix for Signal’s performance at EMPAC are currently on sale for $15.

But we can help save you a few bucks. We are pleased to give away a pair of FREE TIX to the concert to a lucky Nippertown reader. To enter the contest, just post a comment below. Please leave your email address, too. We won’t publish it, but we’ll use it to contact you if you win. The winner will be selected at random and notified on Friday. Good luck! Random Number Generator has spoken: congratulations, Amanda!
