Garage to Glory, Part II: The Singer-Songwriter Showdown

Garage To Glory

You may remember last year about this time, The Times Union teamed up with the College of Saint Rose to co-sponsor a battle of the bands, which they dubbed Garage to Glory.

Well, The TU announced today that they’re doing it again this spring, but instead of a battle of the bands, this time around, Garage to Glory II is going to be a showdown of singer-songwriters.

Post continues below...

Auditions will be held 9am-5pm on Saturday and Sunday, March 19-20, at the College of Saint Rose in Albany. Videos from those performances will be posted online, to be voted upon by the general public. After the votes are tallied, up to 10 performers will be invited to perform live at the final competition on Friday, April 15.

Here are the complete list of rules for Garage to Glory II.

Sign up begins today, and the earlier you register, the more likely you are to get the audition day and time that you want.

Best of luck…
