MUSIC/LECTURE: Peter Buffett @ the College of Saint Rose’s Massry Center, Albany. The pianist (and son of gazillionaire Warren Buffett) serves up “Life Is What You Make It: A Concert and Conversation with Peter Buffett,” a 90-minute multimedia performance and talk about his music, philanthropy and the importance of finding your own path in life. 7:30pm. $25.

MUSIC/THEATER: Rain @ the Palace Theatre, Albany. Following their recent run on Broadway, the Beatle band takes the stage for the Palace’s second tribute band concert of the week. 7:30pm. $27.50, $39.50, $49.50.

MUSIC: Capital Underground Live @ Savannah’s, Albany. Ralph Renna hosts a triple-barrelled thrashin’ blast featuring Armour Column, How the World Ends (formerly Necrosis) and Hand of Reckoning. 8pm. FREE.

BURLESQUE: Burlesque! @ the Waterworks Pub, Albany. Anita Morray hosts a mid-week vaudeville/burlesque drag show featuring Duchess Ivanna Douche, Nadia Bisiness and more. 11pm.

MUSIC: Best Damn Open Mic Ever @ McGeary’s, Albany. Co-hosts MotherJudge and Albie kick it off at 6pm, followed by showcase performer Jesse Calhoun (of the Ameros) at 6:30pm. Open mic session starts at 7pm.
