Phantogram On Fallon

In case you missed the national network television debut of Saratoga Springs electro-pop duo Phantogram on “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon” last night, here it is:

The song is “Mouthful of Diamonds,” the lead-off track from Phantogram’s debut album “Eyelid Movies.” For the performance, vocalist-keyboardist Sarah Barthel and guitarist Josh Carter are joined by drummer ?uestlove of the Roots, house band for Fallon’s show.

Fallon introduced Phantogram as “one of my favorite new bands.” But what we really want to know is just WTF Sarah was chatting about with Larry the Cable Guy after the tune. Discussing current events in Egypt? Complaining about the weather? Placing bets on the Super Bowl?

If I had known that you guys would have the link to the performance on here, I would not have stayed up ’till 1:30 this morning watching the telly. Shoulda known that you would be on top of it! My bad. Yaaaaaawn….

  2. “Holy crap, Larry, you’ve put on like 45 pounds since the last time you were on TV!”

Okay, she didn’t say that, but that’s what I was thinking. Dude looks terrible and got red and winded literally just from talking. Sad.

Also, I threw up an embed that starts off right at their performance:
