Had enough of the snow and ice and cold? Why not think happy thoughts? Like maybe August…
That’s when Hunter Mountain – which is also the site of Warren Haynes’ annual Mountain Jam festival in June – will be hosting the inaugural Bluestock Music Festival, billed as three days of “peace, love and blues.”
The fest is slated to take place from Friday-Sunday, August 26-28, and while the festival organizers have yet to announce the schedule of performances or even the complete list of performers, the bash is already shaping up as the Nippertown blues event of the year with the promise of 20 bands on three stages throughout the weekend.
Here’s the roster of who’s on tap so far:
Tommy Castro & LRBR featuring Deanna Bogart
Ronnie Baker Brooks
The Curtis Salgado Big Band
Steady Rollin’ Bob Margolin & Matt Hill
The Reba Russell Band
Mitch Woods & Billy Gibson
Moreland & Arbuckle
