Add Dr.Billy Taylor to the list this evening. RIP to all.

  2. Greg says:

Yeah, they wrapped production before Teena Marie and Billy Taylor…

  3. There’s always at least one entrant on these types of things that bowls me over because I completely missed his passing. This year it was Mark Linkous. Wow.

  4. J Hunter says:

I’d completely forgotten that Kate McGarrigle died. Was lucky enough to see her and her sister live in ’81. I want to take issue with Malcolm McLaren’s inclusion, though. Luckiest clothing-store owner in the world (Lucky for him John Lydon didn’t shop somewhere else!), but if he’s a musician, so’s Don Johnson!
