David Austin: Next Morning

David Austin: Next Morning

ArtCentric Gift Gallery recently moved a few blocks over to 274 River Street in Troy (across the street from the Arts Center) and the new, larger space is blossoming by leaps and bounds. Slated for Friday, October 29 (Troy Night Out) is a reception for a new photographic exhibit by M-J Adelman. Also on view: David Austin’s paintings comprising a dark and haunting catalog of moments and James Kyote Staley’s assemblages of wood, metal and found objects.

Owner Debra Lockrow hasn’t forgotten her old neighborhood, either; she’s organized another set of panels for the Proctor’s Theater facade (on 4th Street between State and Broadway) that will unveiled on Friday morning at 11am. Artists this time around include Marcus Kwame Anderson, David Austin, Tony Thompson, Vinnie Tocco, Kim Schaller, Tony Iadicicco, Kate Glasheen, and Jason Schultz.
