Re-scheduled: Yes, the moe. concert that was slated for the Washington Avenue Armory in Albany on Saturday night has been postponed. More details here. The new date for the moe. show is Saturday, December 4. All tickets issued for October 30 will be honored on the new date.

OK, we’re only gonna say this once: Bob Dylan is playing at the Mid-Hudson Civic Center in Poughkeepsie at 8pm on Tuesday, November 16. Tix are available at Ticketmaster for $55.85, $66.15.

The Clifton Park-Halfmoon Library in Clifton Park has been quietly presenting one of the finest no-dough concert series of the fall season. It all wraps up at 2pm on Sunday, November 7 with a free concert by Sunny & Her Joy Boys. OK, you may not recognize the band’s name, but you’ll probably know their guitarist – Duke Robillard, who has weilded his considerable fretboard prowess with everyone from Roomful of Blues to the Fabulous Thunderbirds to – here’s that name again – Bob Dylan. And, yes, it’s free.

Club Helsinki Hudson in Hudson is on a roll with another batch of bookings, including a solo performance by James McMurtry at 8pm on Thursday, December 2; the double bill of Joy Kills Sorrow and Cuddle Magic at 9pm on Friday, December 3; and the Jay Ungar & Molly Mason Family Band at 9pm on Saturday, December 5.

Veteran garage-rockers the Fleshtones are returning to Troy once again, but this time around, they’re invading a new, classier venue. Vocalist Peter Zaremba and the boys land at Daisy Baker’s on Saturday, November 13. Opening the show will be the Mime Choir and Big Frank & the Bargain Bingers.

Down at Levon Helm’s barn/studio in Woodstock, the famous Levon Helm Midnight Rambles continue to present some glorious evenings of up-close musical joy with Helm, his band and special guests. Here are a few of the special guests for upcoming shows: Jesse Winchester @ 8pm Saturday (sold out); TBA @ 8pm Saturday, November 20 (sold out); Amos Lee @ 8pm Saturday, December 4 (standing room only); the Wood Brothers @ 8pm Saturday, December 11 (standing room only); Alejandro Escovedo and Shemekia Copeland @ 7:30pm Saturday, December 18 (standing room only); TBA @ 8pm Friday, December 31 (sold out).

When they came through Nippertown this summer, Locksley was the band that kicked off Albany’s inaugural PearlPalooza outdoor downtown fest. The retro power-popsters are headed back to Albany at 8pm on Saturday, November 6, staying on the same street but moving indoors – at Jillian’s. Tix are $10.

Connecticut-based roots-rockin’ quintet Barefoot Truth ambles into the Colonial Theatre in Pittsfield at 8pm on Friday, November 26. Billy Keane opens the show. Tix are $15, $25 and $50.

Re-scheduled: The concert by Michael Franti and Spearhead at Northern Lights in Clifton Park – which was originally scheduled to take place earlier this week on Monday – was postponed due to an emergency medical situation. The concert has now been re-scheduled for 8pm on Friday, January 21. Tix issued for the original date will be honored for the new concert date.

In case you missed it… Saxman Jerry Weldon blows into town for a two-night stand at Flights of Fantasy Bookstore in Colonie on Saturday and Sunday, November 6-7 (more details here) … Peter Rowan and Tony Rice ramble into the Bearsville Theater in Woodstock on Friday, December 10 for a night of hot country, bluegrass and beyond picking.
