MUSIC: The Max Weinberg Big Band @ the Universal Preservation Hall, Saratoga Springs. Mighty Max Weinberg is no stranger to Saratoga, although he usually plays a slightly larger venue – the Saratoga Performing Arts Center – with his other band, Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band. Expect to hear big band classics from Count Basie, Buddy Rich and Quincy Jones, as well as songs from the Beatles, Roy Orbison and, yes, maybe even Springsteen. 8pm. $48.
