MUSIC: Adam Lambert @ the Palace Theatre, Albany. The glam-rock “American Idol” runner-up makes his headlining debut in Nippertown in support of his album, “For Your Entertainment.” Expect the show to be an over-the-top extravaganza. With Allison Iraheta. 8pm. $32.50. SOLD OUT.

MUSIC: Deke Dickerson @ Valentine’s Music Hall, Albany. Twangmaster rockabilly-country-surf-polka-whatever guitarslinger Dickerson tears it up for Punk Rock Monday at Valentine’s in support of his brand-spankin’-new album, “Live at Duff’s.” 8pm.

MUSIC: Ramblin Jug Stompers @ The 8@8 Concert Series at Hanna Park, Utica. The boys bring their ramblin, stompin sound to the land of tomato pies, chicken riggies and – of course – Schultz & Dooley. 8pm. FREE. UPDATE: This show has been cancelled due to the weather.

FAIR: The Washington County Fair @ Washington County Fairgrounds, Greenwich. The fair opens at 5pm today with the usual assortment of fair exhibits, contests and amusements as well as the sweet country ‘n’ bluegrass music of the Smokey Greene Band and the crash ‘n’ burn of the demolition derby. Open daily through Sunday. 5pm. $10; under 14 free.

MUSIC: The 405s @ Club Helsinki Hudson, Hudson. Evan Palazzo, Kip Beacco, Evan Randall, Otto Hauser and Deborah McDowell (who just happens to be the co-owner of Club Helsinki Hudson) serve up an evening of traditional jazz and swing with some R&B thrown in for good measure. 8pm. Free.
