MUSIC: The Scarlet Ending @ Valentine’s Music Hall, Albany. With sisters Kaleena and Kayleigh Goldsworthy at the microphone, the Syracuse sextet blends together a whirlwind of styles from indie to cabaret to power pop and more. They’re landing at Valentine’s tonight to kick off their Keep Calm and Van On tour in support of their new album, “Ghosts.” With the Narrative and Busy Busy Busy. 8pm.

MUSIC: Ramblin Jug Stompers @ Capital Repertory Theatre, Albany. It looks like the Jug Stompers summer residency at Cap Rep is coming to an end tonight. C’mon down and join in the stompin’ at the theater’s cafe. 7pm. FREE.

FILM: “The Last Picture Show” @ PS21, Chatham. Peter Bogdanovich’s classic 1971 b&w film about life in smalltown Texas. With Jeff Bridges, Cybill Shepherd, Ben Johnson, Timothy Bottoms, Cloris Leachman. 8pm. FREE.

MUSIC: Blue Earth @ Club Helsinki Hudson, Hudson. This week’s free Monday Showcase is actually a double-header. Sharing the spotlight with Blue Earth will be Chris Neumann of Citizen Band. 8pm. FREE.

MUSIC: The Armchairs @ the Dovecoat, 306 Hudson St., Albany. The Philadelphia psych-pop quartet rolls in the Dovecote to share the stage with the Neighborhood of Make Believe and Patrick Porter. 7pm.

MUSIC: The Texas Tenors @ the Wood Theater, Glens Falls. Finalists on “America’s Got Talent,” this trio hails from Houston with a repertoire that stretches from Puccini to John Denver. 6 & 8:30pm. $40.
