THEATER/COMEDY: “Theatresports Improvisation Tournament” @ New Stage Performing Arts Center, Pittsfield. It’s MOPCO vs. RBIT, as the Mop & Bucket Co. faces off in a friendly improv throwdown against the Royal Berkshire Improvisation Troupe. Judging the one-night-only evening of improvised theatrical mayhem will be playwright Daniel Klein, writer/Berkshire Living editor Seth Rogovoy and Pittsfield’s director of cultural development Megan Whilden. Proceeds raised will go towards WAM Theatre’s production of Sarah Ruhl’s “Melancholy Play,” to be performed at the New Stage Performing Arts Center in November. 7:30pm. $15.
