Saturday night is the big third anniversary bash for fab radio station WEXT-FM, and Valentine’s Music Hall in Albany is hosting a wailin’ line-up of fine, Nippertown homegrown bands serving up their very special sounds, including Sgt. Dunbar & the Hobo Banned, Rain in Spain, Barons in the Attic and Sea of Trees.

But Sea of Trees has made it into an extra-special celebration, as they’ll also be unveiling their brand new CD – a self-titled six-song EP that the band recorded at Troy’s Collar City Sound Studios.

“We’re thrilled to be able to share our CD release with the WEXT birthday party,” said Sea of Trees guitarist-vocalist Dylan Palazzo. “They do so much for the local music community and with all the great bands involved, it will make for a terrific show.”

The festivities kick off at 7:30pm Saturday at Valentine’s Music Hall in Albany. Admission is $7.

PS: Free digital downloads of Sea of Trees new EP will be available to anyone who signs up for the band’s mailing list. Just go to their website.
