MUSIC: Young@Heart @ The Egg, Albany. With an average age that’s well above the usual retirement age, this inspiring chorus tackles the rock songbook that spans the Ramones to Coldplay. A benefit for Community Hospice’s Camp Erin for grieving kids and teens. 7:30pm. $25, $35, $75.

DANCE: The New York City Ballet @ Saratoga Performing Arts Center, Saratoga Springs. It’s already the final weekend of the ballet at SPAC. Tonight, it’s a knock-out all Jerome Robbins program featuring “N.Y. Export: Opus Jazz,” “In the Night” and “The Concert.” $18-$72.50.

ARTS WALK: Art Night Schenectady @ various locations, downtown Schenectady. More to see and hear and do than you can shake a stick at.

MUSIC: The Suggestions and Paranoid Social Club @ Putnam Den, Saratoga Springs. They’re baaaack! After a three-year hiatus, John Brodeur’s fab power-pop trio is back in the saddle for one-night-only. 10pm. $7.

MUSIC: Sean Rowe’s “Exile On Abbey Road” @ the Bread & Jam Cafe, Cohoes. Acoustic soul powerhouse Rowe tackles the songbags of the Rolling Stones and Beatles. Admission includes two CDs – the limited edition “Black Magic” EP and Rowe’s upcoming full-lengther, “Long Way Home.” 9pm. $15 online; $20 at the door.

THEATER: “Cats” @ Proctors, Schenectady. “Meow, meow, meowmories…” 8pm. $20, $30, $45, $55. (thru Sunday)

THEATER/MUSIC: John Kelly’s “Paved Paradise Redux” @ Bard College’s Fischer Center, Annandale-on-Hudson. The two-time Obie Award-winning multimedia performance artist pays tribute to Joni Mitchell and her music with his gender-bending cabaret show. 8:30pm. $25. (Also at 8:30pm on Saturday)

MUSIC: Matthew Carefully @ Skidmore College’s Tang Museum, Saratoga Springs. The Artist Formerly Known As Matthew Loiacono always has a few fascinating new musical tricks up his sleeve, so expect some songs from his new CD, “Community Balloon” (read our review), as well as a few surprises. 7pm. Free.

FESTIVAL/MUSIC: Camp Bisco @ Indian Lookout Country Club, Mariaville. It’s the ninth annual art & music, electro-cool fest presented by the Disco Biscuits, and it’s got something for everyone. Today’s performers include King Britt, Bassnectar, Thievery Corporation, Earl Greyhound, the Constellations and lots more – including the Biscuits, of course. (thru Saturday)
