“The first records album that I ever bought? I’m trying to remember if this would have been the first…

I had a lot of singles, but in terms of an album, I did have ‘The Monster Mash’ at a pretty early age.

But it was probably one of the Beatles albums. I bought the blue and red albums – you know, the double-album compilations – at a pretty early age. Right after ‘The Monster Mash.'”

Keyboardist Page McConnell and the rest of his Phish bandmates roll into the Saratoga Performing Arts Center at 7pm on Saturday to kick off a two-night weekend stand.
