Real Good for Free: The Music Haven @ Central Park

The Music Haven Concert Series in Schenectady’s Central Park has officially been announced, and it includes seven weeks of Sunday evening musical entertainment that spans the globe from the Caribbean to the Balkans, from Louisiana to the Emerald Isle.

All shows take place at 7pm on Sundays:

July 11: Alex Torres and His Latin Orchestra
July 19: The Red Stick Ramblers with Jim Gaudet & the Railroad Boys
July 25: Nona Hendryx with Bryan Thomas
August 1: Raul Midon with Martha Redbone
August 8: Ruth Pelham & the Music Mobile with Ramblin Jug Stompers
August 15: Cherish the Ladies
August 22: Slavic Soul Party

Jazz On Jay @ Jay Street, Schenectady (12noon Thursdays)
Alive at 5 @ Riverfront Park, Albany (5pm Thursdays)
Upbeat on the Roof @ Skidmore College’s Tang Museum, Saratoga Springs (7pm Fridays)
Rockin’ On the River @ River Street, Troy (5pm Wednesdays)
Beacon Riverfest @ Riverfront Park, Beacon (Saturday, June 26)
Skidmore Jazz Institute @ Skidmore College’s Zankel Music Center, Saratoga Springs (Tuesday, June 29-Friday, July 9)
Lake George Arts Project Summer Concerts @ Shepard Park, Lake George (7:30pm Wednesdays)
