With the Dave Matthews Band at SPAC on Friday and Saturday, Saratoga Springs is sure to be hopping this weekend, and there will be plenty more happening downtown on Sunday, as the tenth annual Caroline Street Arts and Blues Fest takes over the streets from 1-7pm on Sunday.

The fun-filled, family-friendly, free fest includes plenty of children’s activities, exhibitions of artwork by local artists and a chili cook-off between many Saratoga restaurants.

The main attraction at the fest is the live music from a number of blues-based regional musicians and bands.

Blues guitarist Murali Coryell – yes, the son of legendary jazz guitarist Larry Coryell – is the headliner at this year’s fest, performing at 3pm with his band, which also features drummer Dorian Randolph and bassist Vincent Leggiere. Coryell will be tearing it up in support of his latest album, “Sugar Lips.”

Last year’s festival headliners, the Chris O’Leary Band, are scheduled to return for an evening performance outdoors at Gaffney’s. Vocalist-harmonica player O’Leary is the former frontman for Levon Helm & the Barnburners. The band is currently touring in support of their debut album, “Mr. Used to Be.”

Other bands performing at the festival include George Fletcher’s Bourbon Renewal, Bluesology, the Reminders, L.B. Walker and more.
