Proctors Theatre is seeking entries for the Northeast Fine Craft Festival to be held October 23-24, 2010. Last year’s festival brought an attendance of more than 1,000 participants — with 40 artisan booths featured throughout the facility. Hot street art action: Papergirl-New York State is seeking artists to participate in this year’s PaperGirl, an art event that will combine the forces of New York City and Albany. Works will be shown from August 23-27 @ the Dumbo Art Center, Brooklyn, from August 28-29 @ the Armory in Manhattan and from September 3-6 @ the Marketplace Gallery in Albany. After the gallery exhibitions, the art will be distributed to strangers on the street in a style that imitates paperboys. (Submission deadline: July 20)
