Yes, it’s 4/20. Remember that most of these events are BYOB. That’s “bring your own bong.”

MUSIC: Joe Bonamassa @ The Egg, Albany. He’s thirtysomething now, but the blues-rock guitar prodigy has been dazzling fans since the days when his ax was bigger than he was. UPDATE: This show is sold out.

MUSIC: Dr. Jah & the Love Prophets @ Jillian’s, Albany. Wanna let your freak-flag fly? Get in the ganga groove with Albany’s roots rock & reggae torchbearers. With Higher Organix. 8pm.

MUSIC: Elizabeth Woodbury Kasius & Heard @ St. Paul’s Church, Troy. A lunchtime concert of jazz, classical and Afro-Brazilian music from composer-pianist Woodbury Kasius and her ensemble. 12noon. Free.

MUSIC: Nuclear Power Pants @ Upstate Artists Guild, Albany. After a pair of no-shows at EMPAC, are they really coming to town? With Girls of Porn, Outdates, Height With Friends. 7pm. $5.
