ArtBeat: Woodstock World Peace Project @ VARGA Gallery

The fabulously freaky and funky Varga Gallery and Visionary Art Center in Woodstock is hosting the Woodstock World Peace Project – a fund-raising event and art exhibition to celebrate the role of Woodstock as a pioneer in the peace movement.

Registration is $35 and the exhibition is open to all artists. Each registered artist will receive a wooden peace symbol – unprimed, unfinished and two-feet in diameter – to be embellished, decorated, painted, decoupaged or designed in any way they choose.

Peace signs are ready to be picked up now and must be returned to VARGA Gallery the first week of August. The opening of the exhibition is Saturday, August 14.
