TALK: Dr. Philip Barnard: “Cognition, Emotion and Action” @ EMPAC at RPI, Troy. Dr. Barnard, program leader at the Medical Research Council’s Cognition and Brain Sciences Unit in Cambridge and a collaborator-research advisor to Wayne McGregor | Random Dance, will present a talk on his research work. 7pm. MUSIC: Will Dowling @ Caffe Lena, Saratoga Springs. Young singer-songwriter-Skidmore student Dowling plays in the band Third Nature. With this solo performance, he’ll draw on such musical influences as Sufjan Stevens and Jeff Buckley. 7pm. $5.
