Joanie Madden, What Was the First Album You Ever Bought?

JoannieMadden“The first record I ever owned was given to me – Fleetwood Mac’s ‘Rumors.’ But the first one I ever bought was by Mary Bergin, the tin whistle player. I got them both within a couple of weeks. And that Fleetwood Mac record is still one of my favorites.”

Grammy Award-winning flutist, whistle player and vocalist Joanie Madden leads her traditional Irish music ensemble Cherish the Ladies into The Egg in Albany on Tuesday (December 8), in a fundraising concert for the Irish American Heritage Museum.
