Years in the making, Seth Rogovoy‘s new book, “Bob Dylan: Prophet, Mystic, Poet,” has just been published by Scribner, and the author is making the rounds of independent bookstores, cultural venues and radio stations to read, sign and discuss his new book.
He’ll be making his first stop at Water Street Books in Williamstown, Mass. at 6pm on Thursday (December 3).
Other Mass. in-store appearances include the Bookloft in Great Barrington at 7pm on Friday (December 4), the Bookstore in Lenox at 5pm Tuesday, December 8 and Chapters Bookstore in Pittsfield at 6pm on Tuesday, December 15.
You can hear Rogovoy discuss his new book on WAMC-FM‘s “The Roundtable” at 10am on Friday, December 11. And he will offer a free multi-media performance in conjunction with the book at the Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center in Great Barrington at 3pm on Saturday, December 12.
In “Bob Dylan: Prophet, Mystic, Poet,” Rogovoy explores the many and varied strands of Judaism that are woven throughout the life and work of Dylan.
Seth Rogovoy is an award-winning critic, teacher, musician, and public-radio commentator. He is the author of “The Essential Klezmer” and editor of Berkshire Living Magazine.
