Flashback: Jimmy Fallon’s TV Debut

When he steps into the spotlight at The Egg in Albany on Saturday night, Jimmy Fallon will be making his first stand-up appearance in Nippertown since he landed his own TV show.

But, of course, Fallon is no stranger to the Capital Region. He attended the College of Saint Rose, worked as a receptionist at Metroland magazine and made his television debut as “Donkey Boy” on the 30-minute sketch-comedy show, “Metroland’s Loose Camera,” which was broadcast on Fox-23 in September 1994:

Wouldn’t it be a kick if he reprised his classic “Donkey Boy” at The Egg on Saturday? Oh yeah…
