The Second CAMA Hall of Fame Inductees

It was a dozen years ago.

The Capital Area Music Association celebrated another batch of local music veterans on May 1, 1997 when the second CAMA Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and Concert took place at St. Joseph’s Hall at the College of Saint Rose in Albany.

Inductees included:

Lee Shaw, jazz pianist
Rory Block, blues guitarist-singer
Eddie Angel, rock-‘n’-roll guitar-slinger
The McKrells, the Celtic-bluegrass combo led by Kevin McKrell
Ruth Pelham, folksinger and Music Mobile maven
Craig Dory and Brian Levine, of the Troy-based classical music recording label, the Dorian Group

This was the second – and final – class of CAMA Hall of Fame inductees.
