Meanwhile, Cherish the Ladies bring their Celtic sounds to The Egg in Albany on Tuesday, December 8. Their appearance is a benefit concert for the Irish American Heritage Museum.

The Linda has a couple of free shows on tap, including a Quadricentennial concert with the Barefoot Boys and the Hudson River Ramblers (Friday, November 6) and the West Point Band Jazz Knights (Thursday, December 3). They’ll also push the chairs out of the way to make room for a dance floor when the soulful Solid Smoke rolls in for a dance party salute to 50 years of Motown music on Saturday, November 21.

The Joey Thomas Big Band featuring vocalists Bob Father and Mia Scirocco present a special Veterans Day concert, “Big Band Treasures of World War II,” at the Spa Little Theatre in Saratoga Springs on Wednesday, November 11.
