Be Here Now: “Andy Warhol’s Blood for Dracula” @ Proctors, 8/20/09

Now look, we don’t want to be overstating the obvious, but honestly, how often to you get the opportunity to see an Andy Warhol film on a big screen?

Right. Never.

Which is exactly why it’s worth shuffling over to Proctors’ GE Theatre at 8pm on Thursday, August 20 to catch the babes, the blood and the blasphemy of “Andy Warhol’s Blood for Dracula,” directed by Paul Morrissey (NSFW).

The final summer offering from the fine (but obviously very twisted) folks at It Came From Schenectady, this 1974 flick epitomizes their summer film series title, “Strange Films for Curious People.”

Use it or lose it, people.
