Troy’s last-Friday-of-the-month arts walk is the best in Nippertown, and this Friday’s event offers plenty of reasons to get out for a stroll through the downtown of the Collar City.

Here are just a few of the reasons to hit the streets for Troy Night Out on Friday, July 31:

The Arts Center of the Capital Region @ 265 River St., Troy: The opening reception for “The Fence Select” exhibit. Awards ceremonies at 7:30pm. Dance performances by Nacre in the theater at 6pm, 7pm and 8pm.

The Photography Center @ 404 River St., Troy: Reception for the third annual members’ exhibit.

Casper Land @ 469 Fulton St., Troy: One of the very cool new Nippertown spots where visual art and music intersect. Electronic music with heart. Free performance by Dewanatron at 7pm.

The River Street Beat Shop @ 197 River St., Troy: Tons of vintage vinyl and a free performance by the Static Port.

The Clement Art Gallery @ 201 Broadway, Troy: Opening reception for “Group Show, Pt. 1” featuring artworks by some of Nippertown’s finest, including David Brickman, Elizabeth Dubben, Mark Gregory, Gary Shankman, Michael Bergt, Charles Bremer, Tom Clement, Corneila Schmitter, Kaars Syperstein.

Artcentric @ 95 4th St., Troy: Opening reception for G.C. Haymes‘ “little moments: digital photograms” and live music from rockin’ singer-songwriter Rob Skane at 6pm.
