Be Here Now: Lucinda Child’s “Dance” at Bard

Post-modern choreographer Lucinda Childs celebrates the 30th anniversary of her piece, “Dance,” with a revival at Bard College’s Fisher Center in Annandale-on-Hudson.

“Dance” – which opens a four-night stand on Thursday, July 9 – is a coming together of three minimalist giants. Childs’ choreography is not only set to the music of Philip Glass, but is also accompanied by a black & white film by the late Sol LeWitt.
