Real Good for Free: Weekend Bonus


The free concerts are piling up so fast that we can’t quite keep up with them all. So here’s a special bonus blast of Real Good for Free that covers the weekend Friday-Sunday, June 19-21:

From 4-10pm on Friday, June 19 the Celtic Faire takes over Jay St. in Schenectady. Two stages and performances by Flynn 529, Who’s Your Paddy, St. James Gate, Mooncat and the Schenectady Pipe Band.

Classic Philly soul combo Harold Melvin’s Blue Notes headline the Juneteenth Celebration at the Music Haven in Central Park, Schenectady at 7:30pm Saturday, June 20.

The Whipple City Festival takes place at various locations throughout the town of Greenwich on Friday-Sunday, June 19-21. Of particular interest are Captain Squeeze and the Zydeco Moshers at 6:30pm Friday and singer-songwriter Bob Warren at 1pm Sunday.
