San Francisco-based artist Liz Hickok works in photography, video, installation and sculpture, but it seems that her main medium is Jell-O. Yes, apparently Liz is one artist who never listened to her mother’s warning not to play with her food.

Just take a look at her eye-popping, color-saturated “San Francisco in Jell-O” series.
And it looks like Hickok will be headed into Nippertown in the fall to be part of a group exhibition at MASS MoCA titled “You Art What You Eat.”
