Be Here Now: Thingama*jigSaw @ Musica

Oh yeah!

On their second North American tour, the Norwegian alternative-folk duo of Martha Redivivus and Seth Horatio Buncombe make a stop at Hudson’s community music store and all-purpose service center.

Their recently released debut album, “(awakeinwhitechapel),” shows that the free-thinking banjo ‘n’ musical saw twosome draws inspiration from a vast, cross-cultural wheelbarrow of sounds, including Philip Glass (“redlightcockfight”), John Jacob Niles and Daniel Johnston (a charming cover of “Walking the Cow”).

Admission is free, but donations to defray the musicians’ expenses are greatly appreciated.
